The appellation covers 650 hectares and produces an average of 36 000 hectolitres per year. Régnié is the last Beaujolais which was recognized as a Cru. Characterized by freshness
and a flavour of red fruits.


The Château de Pizay owns a vineyard in Régnié which makes a typical wine, remarkable due to its aromas of raspberry.
